Anglicare is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. We have zero tolerance for child abuse in any form, and our work is grounded in trauma‑informed, therapeutic practice. We strive to create environments where children are protected, respected, and where their rights, needs, and voices are upheld.
We acknowledge the significant and lifelong impacts that abuse, neglect, and trauma can have on individuals. Guided by the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations, the ACT Child Safe Standards, the NSW Child Safe Standards, and The Sanctuary Model, we work to build environments where staff feel valued, teams trust one another, and children, young people, and families feel safe, supported, and empowered in their healing.
We recognise the ongoing impacts of trauma — particularly for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people — and approach all our work with cultural respect, care, and humility.
When you join Anglicare, you become part of a team that places safety, dignity, and wellbeing at the centre of everything we do.
