Enhancing our Disability Services on the South Coast

We are excited to announce the expansion of our disability services in the Eurobodalla region, enabling us to support more participants through a broader range of offerings.  This growth opportunity follows a decision by Council Community Care—run by the Eurobodalla Shire Council—to step back from NDIS service provision.

The transition involves increasing the capacity of our established services such as support coordination, plan management, in-home care, and social and community access—while introducing new services. These include services tailored specifically for older Australians and assuming operation of a Supported Independent Living (SIL) residence in Moruya.

Known locally as Murray Street, the SIL provides 24/7 care and support to three participants, all of whom will continue their residence with uninterrupted services.

Ensuring continuity of care has been a key focus throughout this transition, and we are thankful to Council Community Care for their generous collaboration.

We’re also pleased to welcome many long-serving Council Community Care staff, including those from Murray Street, who have now joined the Anglicare team. Their experience, dedication and trusted relationships with participants are invaluable and their support has helped ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption.

We look forward to welcoming new participants and continuing to lead the way in delivering high-quality, person-centred disability services across our region.
